St Joseph’s Care Home residents got creative on Tuesday 4th April painting kindness rocks to support Grace Cares (a not-for-profit, sustainably focussed organisation that collect and sell pre-loved care equipment), get messy with paint and enjoy lots of chatter!
The rocks came in various colours and shapes and the residents and volunteers decorated them in bright colourful designs, with a note on the back asking the person who finds it to post a picture on the Grace Cares Facebook page and then re-hide for others to enjoy. After varnishing the residents and the Grace Cares team will be hiding them in the community to see who finds them. Safe to say it was enjoyed by all who attended. Great fun! This is a lovely way for the residents to join in the with the local community and support a not-for-profit that supports older people and care workers across the UK.
If you’d like to support the residents in Coleshill with activities, please contact Laura Birch from St Joseph’s Care Home on 01675 434559.
