Grace Cares are unable to collect small care equipment items such as walkers, zimmer frames, toilet frames and commodes.

We will collect big bulky care equipment (such as rise and recliner chairs, beds, electric wheelchairs and scooters) that are in working order within 10 miles of our headquarters in Lichfield for free – you’ll likely meet retired Ambulance man John. This will be at no charge to you, so you save the money you’d have spent on a waste removal company or paying to dispose of the item at a waste site as well as adding to a circular economy, ESG obligations and your net zero journey.

Of course we can potentially collect care equipment that is further than 15 miles away –  but this will require us having a chinwag first! 

In terms of collection and waste disposal, our team are Safe Contractor approved, CHAS accredited, have the Environmental Agency waste carrier licence and are fully insured.
