Wheelchair – Attendant or Self-Propelled Wheelchair

We have a range of wheelchairs in from £75-£99

We have a number of Attendant and Self-Propelled wheelchairs available:

Attendant

• an attendant propelled wheelchair is a useful mobility aid designed to be comfortably pushed by someone else, rather than being self propelled by the person using it.
• Some of these fantastic mobility aids have beneficial features such as footrests, which can be easily moved aside to help when transferring the person in and out of the chair, and cable brakes for additional safety to help reduce speed, which is especially useful when going downhill.
• Many of our lightweight attendant controlled wheelchairs fold down, so they can be easily stored when not in use or put in the car for easy transportation.

Self-Propelled

• Self propelled wheelchairs help those with reduced mobility to retain their independence and freedom.
• These mobility aids are safe, easy to push and designed to give you greater independence and freedom, as you don’t need someone else to push you.  However, if you need a rest, another person can take over and push, too.
• Lightweight self propelling wheelchairs require less strength to push and are also easy to store and transport.
